AP Professional Botox Smoothing Treatment No. 2 is a professional, formaldehyde-free smoothing treatment designed to eliminate frizz and curls while helping repair damaged hair.
This innovative smoothing system infuses hydrolysed keratin, hydrolysed collagen and nourishing oils into the hair cuticle. When combined with blow-drying and flat-ironing, it helps transform unruly hair into a straighter, softer, smoother and shinier finish with long-lasting results.
The formula contains argan oil, coconut oil, jojoba oil, wheat germ oil and hydrolysed keratin to condition the hair throughout the smoothing process. It is designed to provide effective smoothing without a strong or irritating smell.

How to Use:
1. Perform a strand test before beginning the full treatment.
2. Wear suitable protective gloves and carry out the entire service in a well-ventilated area.
3. Wash the hair twice with AP Keratin Purifying Shampoo to remove impurities and product residue.
4. Towel-dry the hair until it is damp but no longer dripping.
5. Pour a suitable amount of AP Botox Smoothing Treatment No. 2 into a non-metallic colour bowl, adjusting the quantity according to the hair’s length and density.
6. Divide the hair into several thin, even sections.
7. Apply the treatment section by section and distribute it evenly with a fine-tooth comb until all the hair is covered. (Do not apply the product directly to the scalp.)
8. Leave the treatment on for 20–40 minutes according to the hair type and condition.
Leave fine or wavy hair for approximately 20 minutes.
Leave coarse or tightly curled hair for approximately 30–40 minutes.
A plastic cap may be used during the processing time for improved results.
9. Remove the plastic cap and comb through the hair thoroughly with a fine-tooth comb to remove excess product.
10. Blow-dry the hair on medium-to-high heat until it is completely dry.
11. Straighten and smooth the hair in thin sections with a professional flat iron.
Pass the flat iron over each section approximately 6–8 times, adjusting the number of passes according to the hair’s quality and resistance.
Select the flat-iron temperature according to the condition of the hair:
Extremely damaged hair: 140–160°C / 284–320°F.
Moderately damaged hair: 160–200°C / 320–392°F.
Undamaged or highly resistant hair: 220–240°C / 428–464°F.
12. After completing the flat-ironing process, blow-dry the hair on low heat for approximately two minutes.
13. Rinse the hair and apply AP Daily Care Conditioner.
Do not use shampoo during this initial rinse.
After completing the treatment and initial conditioner rinse, do not wash the hair again for three days.
For ongoing home care, use AP Daily Care Shampoo and Conditioner to help maintain the treatment results.

If the product enters the eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of clean water and seek medical advice if irritation continues.
Do not use on an irritated, sensitive, broken or damaged scalp.
Adjust the processing time, flat-iron temperature and number of passes according to the hair’s condition.
Do not use excessively high temperatures on bleached, fragile or severely damaged hair.
Discontinue use immediately if irritation, breathing discomfort or another adverse reaction occurs.
Keep out of reach of children.
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat.
